Our Story

Tainoki was started by three friends Chase Huang, Meagan Fon, and Jonathan Chang, who all dropped out of school to fulfill their dreams. Each with a unique relationship to furniture design and manufacturing, they are passionate about their craft and legacy. Taking a year to study the best designers in the manufacturing capital of the world, they launched in 2007, starting with custom bedroom collections. Tainoki now offers pieces for every room and has opened up sourcing in five countries: China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
