Our Story

Tainoki was founded by two friends, Meagan Fon and Jonathan Chang, who both wholeheartedly committed themselves to pursuing their dreams in the furniture industry. With distinct backgrounds in furniture design and manufacturing, they each bring a unique perspective and deep dedication to their craft. After spending a year studying the work of leading designers in the manufacturing capital of the world, they launched Tainoki in 2007, starting with a collection of custom bedroom furniture. Today, Tainoki offers curated pieces for every room and sources materials from five countries: China, Vietnam, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Myanmar.
